I needed a lock made in the 1930's repaired.  I live in an historical district and had to repair rather than replace my door to keep it looking consistent with the neighborhood.  I took my lock set to Elite Locksmith and a very competent and pleasant locksmith took the antique lock apart.  A very small spring and a very tiny piece of flexible steel were broken.  It took him 1/2 hour to rebuild this antique and he only charged me $  He knew exactly what he was doing and did it immediately.  He could have sold me another lock which looked like the one I brought in for a lot more, but instead he fixed it explaining that the old one was better than the newer one. They were also able to make keys no other shop could make - one to this lock (a skeleton key) and another to an equally old deadbolt. Great experience.

I was completely satisfied with the service Elite Locksmith provided.  The person I spoke to on the phone when I called to set up my appointment listened to what I needed and was very helpful with suggestions.  I was able to obtain an appointment 2 days later.  The locksmith they sent showed up on time, was very professional, did an excellent job on the locks, and took the time to answer all of my questions.  He was also able to squeeze in an install of a security lock on my sliding door, which I had not mentioned when I called.  I was very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them to friends!

Rekeyed our whole house that we just purchased. Reprogrammed our garage door openers. John called to say he was running early giving me time to get to the house. John was very knowledgeable & professional. Gave me great tips on additional safety measures for our home as well as try to identify a key-ring full of keys that were left for us. He also attempted to assist me in setting up my home link buttons for the garage door openers in my car. John did a great, quick job & went above & beyond what was expected! Called to schedule a re-keying for my home yesterday and they put me right on the schedule for this morning.  John was my technician, arrived between the time frame that had been given to me, he listened to my request for re-keying, and also my request to look at a couple of deadbolts that were being very cranky.  He moved through the job quickly, efficiently and improved the situation with my deadbolts as well.  I can now cancel the repair work order with the door company... they take SO long to respond. Called John early in the week based on his Angie's List reviews.  We made an appointment for the following Monday, but he called me the Friday before our appointment to let me know he had an opening if it would work for me.  I met him at our rental property and he was right on time.  He rekeyed all the locks and made me copies of the keys in well under an hour.  Before he left, he noticed that the dead-bolt on the front door was sticking a little bit when it locked, so he ground down the strike plate so it would work smoothly.  That little bit of extra service went a long way with me.  His number is in my phone and I'll call him for any other lock related needs.

I moved into a new house and need the locks re-keyed. John was able to schedule me quickly, arrived on time, was very professional, and cleaned up. John exceeded my expectations. He was able to re-key all doors to one key which I didn't think was possible because of the security door. A few of the existing knobs were brass and I wanted nickel ones and he had them in his van so he was able to replace them right away. I would definitely recommend Elite Locksmith!

Extremely pleased with response time, punctuality and quality of work. John responded via email to schedul the work the same day I contacted him on Angie's list, and showed up 2 days later (one of them being a holiday, so really he showed up the next "working" day) to re-key the home and fix all the broken and non-working locks. He was very professional and just an all-around good guy. I couldn't get my key into one of my locks, and the other one was very hard to turn. When I called to schedule the appointment, they were extremely nice and helpful. I didn't know exactly what I needed to be done. John explained what rekeying was, because I didn't know, and gave me the price for that. He also gave me the price if I needed a new deadbolt. He said he would diagnosis the problem for me. I was able to schedule an appointment exactly when I needed it. The day of the appointment, I received a call from John about 15 minutes before he was to arrive. He was very nice from the moment I opened the door. I showed him my problems. He explained about deadbolts getting gunky inside after a period of time and he felt it only needed to be cleaned out, which was correct. It works great now. He took my other deadbolt apart and took out some things that they have installed in a lock when the house is being built, so more than one key can be used. My key now slides right into the lock without any problem, which it didn't before he worked on it. He also showed me that someone had installed the lock on my doorknob upside down, so the key had to be flipped over, which becomes quite confusing when you are trying to unlock the door. He turned it the right direction for me free of charge. I don't use my front doors very often because of coming through the garage, but I wanted to be able to unlock the doors in case my garage door opener failed me. I feel happy now that I know I will be able to do that. I was very happy with the service I received.

When I called John to set up an appointment to have six locks and seven deadbolts at our new home re-keyed,  I told him we would be available for just a couple of days. He was very accommodating, and worked to fit us into his schedule the very next day. He arrived at the appointment early, and was very courteous, proficient and neat. He re-keyed all the locks as requested, installed one new deadbolt and left everything better than it was when he arrived. Several of the door knobs had been loose, due to the previous installer's failure to include all of the necessary screws (the installer also flipped some pins in the locks), so John had his work cut out for him. When he finished, we had deadbolts we could easily lock and unlock and no more loose doorknobs. The cost was very reasonable, and we feel assured that our home is much safer and more secure thanks to his workmanship.

John arrived on time for the appointment and after showing him the location of the doors he went directly to work to rekey all my knob an deadbolt locks. He was extremely professional explaining every step and worked out his fully equipped mobile shop/van.  His charges were exactly as stated in the phone call setting the appointment. His attention to detail made sure everything was just as I wanted before he left and his price was very fair. I cannot imagine any other locksmith could do it better! John easily earned an A++++, the best recommendation I will give and I will use him again.

John is an excellent locksmith, and we will call him back for more work. He was on time, brought a special order lock that did exactly what we wanted. He did some additional work as well, and had no problem with our spontaneous questions or requests. He also showed graciousness and tolerance of the many workmen that were going in and out of the very door he was working on. He will not stop until the job is done right, to order, and to his own satisfaction.  He was a pleasure to work with, and his service charge is very fair for what he delivered to us. 

John spent three hours rekeying five door locks, the last door being an expensive glass cut front door. Due to weather exposure, the lock mechanism had severe rusting. This required him to spend most of the time freeing the pins and resurrecting the key mechanism. It now works flawlessly with a smooth action that has not been that way for 5-6 years. I called three other Angie's List locksmiths for quotes. Elite Locksmith was competitive, but more importantly, I recognized John's experience during the conversation. This experience was proven during his house call.

This is the second time I've used John at Elite Locksmith.  I called him Monday afternoon and he scheduled the appointment for the next morning.  He showed up promptly and worked on changing out some locks which a couple were pretty old.  Eight locks were changed out along with a new doorknob, resetting striker plate so front door was in alignment with two dead bolts.  He worked diligently on one of the older locks to ensure it worked properly.  He provided me with the new keys at no charge. I would definitely recommend him and I will definitely use him again.

John from Elite locksmith rekeyed all the locks. I was curious how this was done. John explained how a lock works took it apart to show how the pins work and explained that changing the pins to fit new keys is the way re keying is done. He was very patient and sweet answering all my curiosity questions. He was a great teacher. Per my request, he changed the front storm door lock for an additional $ I would certainly use this provider again. I felt very comfortable with this service provider. By the way, all the locks and keys and the padlock are working very smoothly!

John from Elite Locksmith was able to come out with only a one day notice. This is a rental house so I needed to re-key it on the last day of the month after the last tenant moved out but had new tenants moving in the next day. He showed up on time and completed the work quickly. John noticed that one of the doors had a deadbolt lock but no hole for the deadbolt so he drilled a hole for it as part of the service. It is nice to have a company do something extra for free versus sell you something at a set price and then add all kinds of extra fees once he is doing the job! I will definitely call them again when we need to re-key the house again.

I had lost my mailbox key and needed them to replace the lock located in my condos community mailbox center. I emailed them and within a couple minutes, John called me to schedule service for the very next day! I highly recommend this company as they are quick and reliable!

John arrived  promptly. He  listened carefully to what I wanted done and how I wanted all locks to be on the same key. He said that  since I  had already paid for 2 re-keys (it was a long time ago, but he still accepted it), he  would only charge for 3 re-keys. He also changed a dead bolt lock (I couldn't get the  old  one off) He then went to work. He was very friendly and professional. I noticed that he even re-did one door lock that I had put in crooked! He explained that the outside door could not close all the way, because of missing weather-stripping, not because of anything he did. Overall, it was a great experience. I would not hesitate to use him again!

The technician arrived on time and gave me a quote on the work that I wanted doing. He then quickly installed the 3 dead bolts and explain that the double sided lock was a special type of lock and he would need to go to his supplier for that lock as it was not standard. He was back quickly with the appropriate lock which he replaced and then worked on aligning the door and installing the interior dead bolt. He worked quickly and cleaned up after him self. He then demonstrated all the locks he had replaced/installed. The work was completed in a good time frame and I was happy with the work that they did. I would definitely use this company again.

We checked the "list" and this company had great reviews so we called for an appointment to have all of the locks in a new (to us) house re-keyed after moving in. We also inquired about a patio door lock they had advertised on their website. We called and made an appointment. The locksmith arrived promptly at the appointment time and immediately got to work. He re-keyed all of the locks, and made some additional keys beyond the customary number they normally provide. In addition, the locksmith installed a patio door lock that is on the handle side of the door and above the handle (no more bending down to pull out a stick from the track). The benefit of the lock is it has pins that lock from the top and the bottom of the lock mechanism and the information provided said it would take more than 1000 lbs of force to pry the door open and with that much force most likely the glass would break before the frame mounted lock gave way. The lock also prevents the door from being lifted out of the track (one common way to break in). The work was completely promptly, and everything was fully explained to us. Plus the locksmith made a point of testing each of the duplicate keys he cut for the doors to make sure each one worked would work the locks. Highly recommended!

Provider / Locksmith John was on time and professional.  He went the extra mile from a service perspective.  The original hardware selected did not work.  John checked online with his phone and found an alternative at Home Depot.  Unfortunately, Home Depot did not have the item in stock.  John called me back and said he would pick the hardware up at a Locksmith supply house and be back in 40 minutes.  He returned as promised and installed the new lock hardware.  That's service!  Not giving up and going the extra mile to complete the job.  I'm very happy with my Elite Locksmith experience.

John came to our rescue at 8 o'clock at night after my mom was previously taken advantage of by a scam locksmith company she found in the yellowpages. John was not only professional, but took the time to walk us through what the prior person had done, calmed our nerves about being taken advantage of, was very efficient at rekeying the house, was very patient and had a great personality, and just very much a person you would welcome into your house for this type of service.  Never again will I use any other company - it will always be Elite Locksmith!  Great experience!

Upon contacting Elite Locksmith I requested an estimate on three new door knobs and dead bolt locks. After some discussion, I was advised that it was possible to repair and rekey my doors without the purchase cost of NEW hardware. I not only appreciate the honesty, but I was very satisfied with the work completed by the repairman. I will use Elite Locksmith on my other rental property in the future. My Ex has been doing and saying things I never expected; he has an anger problem. He has keys and he knows how to pick locks. I was scared, and, as soon as I said that to the owner, both the owner and John from Elite Locksmith did everything in their power to help me. John came out that same day, and walked my property with me to show me how secure the house was and where I could make improvements. He was thorough and professional, showing me the pros and cons of the cost, quality and security level on what they could offer.  John offered to be the same Tech that came out for the job so I would feel comfortable, and when we found out the parts wouldn't be in for three weeks, he came up with an alternative plan that would keep me safe until then. John even came on his day off because it was the only time I could meet someone, and I was desperate to get at least the alternative plan in place. I cannot thank them enough. The service was well worth the price, and I would recommend them to anyone.

The initial service request was prompt. John explained that our existing locks, which are excellent locks, suffered a snag for re-keying. He would have to order the blue key and should be back mid-week. Sure enough he was. John represents Elite Locksmith well by being very professional. He clearly explained why the locks could not be re-keyed during the initial visit. The return service call was when John estimated. The cost was reasonable. Would call on this company again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

It was a quick and easy transaction. John came with all equipment. Took off locks, rekeyed them, and provided us spares. Took probably 30 minutes total. Very affordable. The locksmith was very friendly. All around good experience.

We discovered on the evening of the 4th that we could not open the door into the garage, nor would the spare garage door opener work, since it had been years since it was used.  Therefore, we were trapped in the sense that we could not access our car.  Called Elite Locksmith, and actually reached a live person that evening, and scheduled a service call for 7:30 AM on the 5th (the following morning).  The technician diagnosed the problem and repaired the lock within half an hour.  He was very competent and very courteous, and the price was very reasonable.

I had a simple job (re-keying my home) that needed to be done. After calling one local locksmith and waiting 24 hours (and counting) without a return call, I found Global Locksmith Service. I spoke to an actual person who sounded professional, scheduled the appointment with just a two-hour time window. On the day of the appointment the technician called me, well in advance

The lock on a door between the house and garage stopped functioning, and we couldn't get the door open.  I called Global Locksmith Service to come and fix it, and, later, to re-key it to match our other locks.  He did both quickly and professionally.   He was very patient in explaining options, making sure that we wanted a lock on that door (apparently, many people don't lock that door, and he wanted to be certain we did before proceeding).  He spent a lot of time explaining how the new doorknob works, since it was different than the old one, and why he choose it, and wanted to be sure I knew how to use it.

He came to my home, and drilled out a mailbox lock that I had lost the key to. The lock was quite stubborn, but he persisted, and replaced the lock. He was very courteous and professional. John arrived on time and went right to work in spite of a power outage that lasted through his call.  He put a new tumbler in our front door lock, replaced a power room doorknob/lock assembly and repaired the handle mechanism on a set of french doors.  He finished in about 2 1/2 hours.

Couldn't be more pleased with John's work. I called him on Wednesday, he showed up the next day exactly when he said he would. His work was fast, well-done, and well priced. When deciding exactly how we wanted to key the locks and what changes to make he was extremely helpful in recommending an approach, and in making suggestions to save us money.

We were needed to have all 4 of our entry locks rekeyed  asap. We called late Thursday evening and he was at our house by 9am the next morning, as promised. Within an hour, all the doors were rekeyed and extra keys were made per our requested.   It was less expensive to rekey than to replace the locks. We were very impressed with our encounter with him. I called for an estimate on having two new deadbolts installed and all of my existing locks rekeyed.  I made an appointment for the upcoming Saturday for between 9 and 10 am.  I received a call at 8:30 am Saturday to confirm and was told the locksmith would arrive within an hour.  The locksmith (John) showed up right around 9 am, introduced himself, asked for a rundown of the work to be done and immediately got to work.  He completed the installs and rekeys in very short order, inspected my existing locks and cleaned up.  The new locks function perfectly, the old locks function better than before and the work areas looked like he was never there.

This was an emergency situation where my wife's purse with keys inside was stolen. We needed to change the locks immediately. The locksmith answered my call at 8 pm and because he was driving asked to call back in a few minutes. I needed a locksmith quickly to rekey all my doors. I called Global Locksmith Service after getting the contact from Angie's list. John responded right away, I explained my problem and he told me he is going to another job and he will call me when he is done. He call me within an hour and was at my house within 15 minutes. I explained what I wanted, which was to rekey all my doors and preferably to use the same key for all doors, he looked around and informed me due the kind of locks that I have, it can't be done but he was able to make two of the doors the same. He did his job quickly and professionally and gave me two sets of keys for my doors. I was very impressed on how efficiently and professional John was. In less than 45 minutes all my locks were changed and I had a peace of mind. In addition, he explain to me what to do in an event I am locked out I will definitely use Global Locksmith Service again if the need arises.

Overall, our experience was great. John is indeed a skilled professional who is very conscientious. His prices are excellent and I would highly recommend him. I contacted John after finding him on Angie's List and reading the excellent reviews. He responded in a timely way to my emails and I also was able to reach him easily by phone. John was able to arrive a little earlier than the original time frame he had given me and he called to see if that would work for me. We agreed that was fine and he told me the approximate time of his arrival. He rekeyed 6 locks, some old and some fairly recent. We were very happy with his work.

I called Global Locksmith Service and told John that I had a disassembled, removed deadbolt on my back door and a patio door lock that I thought couldn't be repaired. He said that he could come by in the afternoon. He arrived and went right to work on the disassembled deadbolt and reattached it to the door. After finishing, he sprayed it with silicone and tested the key on both sides of the door to assure that the key was properly fitted and would open from both sides. He then looked at the patio door and said that he could, indeed, fix the lock on that as well. He repaired the patio door lock and sprayed it with silicone to assure easy locking. I'm very pleased with his work and I would call him again.

I contacted John from Global Locksmith Service and explained to him the work that I needed done.  He gave me an estimate and a reasonable window of time that he would come by on the day I requested.  He showed up during the time window he provided.  Despite some initial concern that he might need to come back, John worked diligently on my locks for almost three hours and made all the necessary changes.  While three locks were pretty straightforward, for one we did not have a key that worked in the lock and for one we wanted a different kind of lock.  John fixed the lock that did not work with our key and replaced the other lock without having to leave and come back and while remaining within his estimate.  He was very professional and very focused on his task, wasting not even a moment from what I saw.  He cleaned up after himself and he was very friendly and provided me with several helpful suggestions about my keys and locks.

I called the service about 10am and told him what I wanted.  He was there in one hour and finished within an hour and a half.  I live in an older, established neighborhood with a lot of covenants and restrictions as to what you can do or change as far as the looks and character of your home.  I had tried several times to find a replacement lock to fix my door but couldn't find one.  Home Depot didn't even know what I was talking about.  John from Global Locksmith Service showed up, said "Yeah, I got that."  and had it fixed, matching current keys, in about 90 minutes.  I know I'll be using Global Locksmith Service service again if needed.

When we could not open our basement door because both the deadbolt and doorknob would not budge I did not want to waste any time in finding someone to fix the problem. I looked at several locksmith reviews on Angie's List and chose Global Locksmith Service because I liked the reviews I read about it. I had to call several times before I was able to reach John because of a phone glitch but once he called me back within an hour we set up a time for him to come and he was able to remove and replace the lock set in the same day with a good quality set. The cost was exactly as he explained it on the phone and I was able to use a coupon from the website to bring the cost down. It is good to know someone I can call if we should need a locksmith again and I would recommend John to others without hesitation.
