Typical Day-in-the-life

Each day begins with "Circle Time," a gathering of students in each classroom, designed to allow each child to "predict" the day, preparing in his/her own mind. We are based on Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences. Every child is viewed as a unique individual with specific strengths. These strengths are identified and instruction takes place through each child's strengths. We focus on art, music, and creative movement, as well as language, math, science, and social skills.
