- “Balasana†is a Sanskrit word that in Hatha Yoga simply means “Childs resting pose†. Our Mission is to be a socially responsible company which provides a mainstream fitness opportunity that conveniently fits into your lifestyle, budget, and location. Our Vision is to help you be mindful of your own body. Always listening and allowing your body to guide you through all movements. We also love to BE as children, remembering to be playful and childlike in our approach to fitness - keep it fun and keep it simple. We can also quite literally go back into child pose (balasana) to rest and renew as well as to listen and become conscious of our own body, mind & spirit! Our Global Vision is to help individuals become conscious of their own bodies, thoughts and spirits. To honor and love the self right NOW, and ultimately to honor, respect and have love for all life! We believe in order to care for and honor Mother Earth we must begin with the self and expand our connection and awareness outward from this understanding of self love.
