If you're traveling in South America, I would highly recommend putting Ecuador at the top of your list. I recently traveled through Ecuador and did a Galapagos cruise and it was a truly unforgettable experience. Finding Ecuador hotels and tours can sometimes be a little more challenging than in other countries, but it's worth the extra effort.
