Moss lake and lakes owned by John Moss are overpriced. $20 for a fishing permit is ridiculous when it costs $15 for a NC fishing license. And not to mention every permit expires on the same date. $60 to put a kayak/canoe on the lake for a year is outrageous. Especially when you don't even have to pay a dime to put a kayak/canoe elsewhere in NC. The regulations set on these lakes were obviously not well thought out. With that being said these lakes should be state owned because whoever is setting these rules are complete idiots.
