More details

Mission
"Unique" is the word most often used to describe Rio Grande. When Rio Grande Community College teamed with the University of Rio Grande almost 35 years ago, Rio Grande became more than a private comprehensive institution granting four-year baccalaureate degrees. Almost immediately, it was turned into a "people institution" offering degree programs in technologies and skills to help students get better jobs. It also became a community resource reaching out to improve the lives of all the people it serves. Today, Rio Grande (pronounced Rhy-oh) is a model for higher education into the next century.
