Mission
The University of Northern Colorado is a comprehensive baccalaureate and specialized graduate research university with a continuing commitment to it historical role in the preparation of educators. The University offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programs in arts, sciences, humanities, business, human sciences, and education. The array and quality of UNC programs provides a unique resource to Colorado. The University offers more than 2,000 academic courses annually and enrolls approximately 13,000 students. UNC is located in the city of Greeley, Colorado, about one hour north of Denver, Colorado, and one hour east of Rocky Mountain National Park. The 236-acre campus has two distinct, adjacent parts. Both have residence halls and classroom buildings. The central campus features tree-lined walks with older buildings while the west campus is distinguished by modern buildings.
