Mission
The University of Montana Western provides innovative interdisciplinary education through experiential learning that combines theory and practice called Experience One. In Experience One students take only one class at a time, for three hours each day for 18 days. In between they enjoy a four day break to relax and recharge. Students then move on to the next class. Montana Western serves citizens of all ages with its academic, community-service, and lifelong-learning programs.
