- Discounts: Proper Documentation must be shown at the time of check-in. Disability Certification from the Illinois Secretary of State's Office is required. Documentation from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs is required for all disabled veterans and former POW discounts. Discounts are for Illinois residents only. Reservations must be made seven days before arrival. After the seven day window has passed, reservations are no longer allowed on-line and all remaining campsites, shelters and cabin are first come/first serve. * No one under 18 years of age may register for a campsite or book a reservation * At least one responsible adult must accompany each group of 15 minors * Special camping rate reductions apply to Illinois residents only * Group size and number of vehicles cannot exceed the established maximums * The maximum length of camping stay from May 1 through September 30 is 14 nights in any 30 day period, except, at designated sites which permit 30 nights in any 45 day period. * All pets must be on a leash. Pet owners are responsible for their animal's waste and must dispose of it properly * All visitors are required to leave the park at or before 10:00PM * Groups of 25 or more are required to register in advance with the park office * FIREWOOD BAN - It is illegal to bring or possess on IDNR properties any firewood from out-of-state or from a quarantine area or adjacent counties where wood exportation or movement has been prohibited by State or Federal Law * We hope you enjoy your stay and Remember, take only memories, leave only footprints.
