The Fortis Company is a self funded family investment office located in Bossier City, LA with a primary focus on capital investment designed to improve the living experience of residents in apartment communities in the South and Southwest. We choose to invest in projects, and companies which improve lives, promote community and create jobs. We’re also developers and owners of commercial/industrial buildings that serve small businesses.
Our target acquisitions are well located 1980’s vintage apartment communities which require interior renovation, and the building of ground up new communities. LA Fortis Property Management, our sister company, provides a renovation team equipped with trucks, trailers and a warehouse designed to make the interior renovations process move quickly.
Fortis also develops and owners commercial/industrial buildings that serve small businesses, and makes capitol contributions to well managed private equity funds, and direct investments in growing small businesses.
