Located in a quiet, peaceful setting, Sun Grove Montessori School is a state of Florida, non-profit, tax-exempt corporation, founded in 1978. Montessori is a philosophy of life. It is a faith in each child as a potential new beginning for humanity. The Montessori philosophy emphasizes activities which foster the child’s creative thinking and supports the growth of social maturity and inner discipline. Each child is allowed and encouraged to realize his or her fullest potential. He or she develops an enthusiasm for learning as well as an organized approach to problem-solving and academic skills.
