Bullying has for a long time been a part of many students’ lives. But, now cyberbullying has joined in on the ‘fun.’ It is much worse than your usual school-yard bullying and tends to follow the victim wherever they go, thanks to smartphones, tablets and social media accounts. This is why Submit: The Documentary has taken a step towards preventing further cyberbullying attacks. We, the team behind this documentary, aim to inform people of the long-lasting harms of cyberbullying. And more importantly, we aim to reach victims who feel isolated and alone. We want to let victims know that suicide is not the only way out. With the growing arsenal of the cyberbully, we try to provide resources for the bullied and their families on how to deal with their circumstances.
