St. Dominic Elementary and Middle Schools in Oyster Bay offer an educational experience from Pre-K to grade 8. Our Pre K through Kindergarten early childhood program is Montessori-based, utilizing a sensory-motor approach to learning. All students participate in a faith-based curriculum. Our campus includes state-of-the-art Science and STEM Labs. Our STEM program from K-8 is designed so that students apply ideas introduced in the classroom to real world applications that promote critical thinking and creativity, and is the only STEM program on Long Island to combine the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with the sport of sailing. Our middle school students can experience advanced math & science, a variety of world languages and enrichment classes. Aftercare is available as well as many extracurricular activities including middle school sports. Students who attend St. Dominic are provided with a strong spiritual and academic program that will prepare them to be the leaders of tomorrow.
