You can choose in-ground and mausoleum burials, with options for both private and public spaces. The staff is always ready to answer questions and relieve you of any unnecessary stress during this stressful time. The cemetery is part of 30 other cemetery locations in Connecticut, offering Catholic cemetery services to all who choose to participate.
Sacred Heart Cemetery understands how weighted decisions about permanent memorialization can feel. Of course, you can choose burial plots for your loved ones and close family members. You can even reserve the burial spaces in advance with pre-need services. But there are options beyond that. You can construct a monument for your loved one that can be spotted from across the cemetery, letting each progeny know what their ancestor represented. Or you can memorialize the deceased with a memorial bench or memorial portrait on the grave marker. This critical decision does not have to be made on an urgent timeline after you find out about a death. With pre-need services, you can make the arrangements now. Then you can focus on your family, knowing burial arrangements are in place when the need arises.
In addition to in-ground burial and entombment options, you can choose private and public sacred spaces. Cremated remains can be buried in niches in the indoor mausoleum. Then all family and friends can visit the cemetery to pay respects to their cremated loved one.
