You can manage the router configuration file by creating a back of the settings that are stored in a router. You can save that file in the location from where you can easily access it. When the reset or an update process is being done in a Netgear router the configuration settings get erased. To save yourself from reconfiguring the file, you can create a backup of the configuration file and can restore them later using the routerlogin.net interface.
