Tutors provide service in your home and can help your child with math, reading, science, social studies, language arts, vocabulary, and any other subject area that is part of your child's curriculum.Tutors use student textbooks, websites, and materials to assist your child in achieving success in the classroom. In addition, you may request that the tutor be in communication with your child's teacher to gain insight into your child's issues.
We can also help your child with test preparation. Whether your child is preparing for the HSPT for high school entrance, or taking the ACT or SAT test for college entrance, we have the materials to help your child be ready for that most important test. Our tutors work with your child in a one-on-one setting and assess strengths and areas of need so that your child can achieve the best score possible.
RLS Tutoring also offers a variety of academic summer camps to reinforce skills taught during the school year while having fun in the process. Camps that focus on HSPT preparation, STEM camps, Reading camps, Forensic Camps, Study Skills camps, Chess Camp. Military Games Camp, and Trade and Commerce Camps all provide students with academic instruction while encouraging students to creatively interact with each other.
Our after school programs provide schools with a safe after school curriculum that helps students transition from school to after school care. The afternoon is structured with built-in play time, homework help, and creative activities. For an additional fee, students may enjoy the benefits of one-on-one tutoring or a special after school program designed for learning while playing.
