Now, you should know that over the course of 35 years, I have used and taught every single carpet cleaning method there is. Some methods worked better than others. And then there were those that were just plain awful. Carpets were left horribly over wet, for far too long causing mold, mildew, a funky smell, reappearing stains…. Basically they caused more problems than they were supposed to solve. On the other hand, some others methods left the carpets a little bit drier, but didn’t clean very well at all. Frustrating to say the least.
