Sea birds can be viewed from the crescent-shaped beach and more wildlife-viewing opportunities are provided in the mangrove-edged backwater byways that can be accessed with canoes and kayaks (kayak rentals are available). Tee times can be reserved at the championship golf course at Cedar Creek. Fishing is offered from the resort’s private pier, and deep-sea fishing excursions are also available (surcharge).
