My name is Dr. Seun Sowemimo, or ‘Dr. Seun’, as most patients call me. I’m a board-certified and fellowship-trained bariatric, laparoscopic and general surgeon; My practice is located in Freehold, New Jersey. I am affiliated with CentraState Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge and Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. For the past 13 years, I have successfully performed thousands of operations, including weight loss surgery, emergency procedures and complex surgeries. I specialize in performing laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures which achieve the same or higher degree of success as traditional operations, but with smaller incisions resulting in less post-operative pain and faster recovery.
