- Retail stores include Aria, Brookstone, Creative Kidstuff, Hudson News, InMotion Pictures, Made in Oregon, Nike, Norm Thompson, Powell's Books, Relax Station, Spirit of the Red Horse, The Oregon Pendleton Shop, The Paper Station, The Real Mother Goose, You Northwest Travel Mart. Many of these are located in a shopping mall behind the ticket counters. Businesses are not allowed to charge more than at their other stores and, as Oregon has no sales tax, they offer tax-free shopping.
- Business Facilities
- Free Wi-Fi Internet access is also available. The PDX Conference Center (503) 460 4050 offers meeting rooms and business facilities and can accommodate up to 72 people. Audiovisual equipment, photocopying, fax facilities, workstations with computers, notary service, private telephone rooms, typewriters and a secretarial service are available. Communication services, including fax, PC workstations and postal facilities, are also available at service centres on Concourses C and D.
- Information Desk
- Two staffed information desks operate in baggage reclaim, with other information points located around the terminal. Uniformed volunteers provide passenger assistance at peak periods. Computerized kiosks and brochures provide information in Chinese, English, German, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. Foreign-language assistance is available through AT&T at the information desks. The airport’s Information Centre can provide further information (503) 460 4234.
- Disabled Services
- The airport is well equipped for disabled travelers. Facilities include adapted toilets, TTY telephones, visual paging and a guide dog area. Reserved car parking spaces are available in the parking garage, next to the elevators, as well as near the bus shelters in the economy and long-term parking. The airport shuttles are wheelchair-accessible. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
- Parking
- There is a parking garage with direct access to the terminal. Economy and long-term car parks are also available, with free shuttle buses running to/from the terminal. Motorcycles are not permitted in any of the car parks, however, parking for motorcycles is free on the Arrivals level, under the upper roadway. Valet parking is available just outside the terminal. - Airport Overview
- The airport terminal consists of one building roughly "H"-shaped that is divided into five concourses. Concourses A, B, and C are on the south side of the terminal and concourses D and E are on the north; the two sides are connected beyond security checkpoints by an elevated walkway opened in August 2005. Inside PDX there are postal services, free WiFi wireless internet access, playroom, retail stores, restaurants, and bars.
- Rail
- TriMet MAX light rail services (503) 238 7433; www.trimet.org run from the airport to downtown Portland and Beaverton on the red line. Tickets are available from machines in the Arrivals lobby and on the station platform, which is located on Airport Way, close to the terminal building.
- Car Rental
