My name is Rehbecca Lowder and I began sewing when I was 14 years old after my great grandmother helped me sew my first quilt.avater.jpg Taking to the art right away, I quickly began making quilts and crocheting baby afghans for all the new parents in my church. Sewing off and on throughout the years as time permits, I believe that sewing is a stress reliever of sorts and FUN!
My first home business went into motion after I became a mother for the second time, and just couldnt bare to be apart from my children that God had blessed me with. Taking the plunge after maternity leave into a permanent leave, I purchased a commercial consew. My business was centered around baby quilts and hand made bears.
Throughout the years, my stay at home career has taken on many faces, until Planet Applique was born. My Husband, Corey, and I handle customer inquiries, devise art project to digitize and make administrative decisions as husband and wife.
