Mission
Memphis College of Art is dedicated to excellence in art and design. At MCA, we've created an environment for learning that revolves around the individual artist, as evidenced by our 10 to 1 student-teacher ratio. Located within a 342-acre wooded park in midtown Memphis, MCA can boast of a truly unique setting. Beyond these surroundings awaits Memphis, a city large enough to host typical metropolitan spectacles, yet small enough to exude friendly familiarity. For over 60 years MCA has attracted students from nearly every state and five foreign countries. They come to absorb the lessons of fine design and liberal arts, and leave prepared to apply those skills in the field of their choice.
