MCPHS offers leading edge educational programs that prepare students to succeed in contemporary health practice and related professions. As a private and independent institution with a long and distinguished history, the College provides traditional and non-traditional programs of study that embody teaching excellent, active scholarly research, professional service and strong community partnerships. The College has three campuses: Boston, Worcester, and Manchester. A brand new facility, the Richard E Griffin Academic Center opened in January 2009 at the Boston campus. The striking, six-story, triangular building contains nearly 50,000 square feet of classrooms, faculty and staff offices, teaching laboratories, a technology center, a 230-seat auditorium and a top floor multi-function room with views of Downtown Boston. The college is part of the Fenway Consortium enjoys working affiliations with some of the world's finest health institutions, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital Boston Medical Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital. The Worcester Campus is located adjacent to the Worcester Medical Center and in close proximity to other hospitals. The Manchester Campus is located in the largest City in New Hampshire and is the center of the state's diversified industrial and service economy. Since its inception in 1823, MCPHS has not been able to supply enough graduates to meet the demand for qualified health professionals around the world. The current President, Charles F. Monahan is a graduate of MCPHS and understands the importance of developing strong professional relationships with faculty and staff, whose primary goal is to help students succeed.
