- The Marietta Eye Clinic was originally founded in 1967 by Dr. Irving Staley. In 1973 Gerald E. Sanders, M.D. joined and the clinic was moved to Cherokee Street in Marietta, near WellStar Kennestone Hospital. In December 1996, the Marietta office relocated to one half mile north to our current 20,000 square foot facility on Canton Road. Over the past several decades, Marietta Eye Clinic has grown to include seven locations, over eighteen doctors, and many subspecialties.Our range of services extends from routine eye exams and spectacles all the way to complex surgical care for all your eyecare needs. Although we have experienced many changes thru the years, one thing has always remained the same. Providing outstanding care to our patients and ensuring their best visual outcome continues to be our top priority!
