- Mayes Lake Campground is subject to flooding during heavy rains due to its location along the Pearl River. Park officials are notified by the National Weather Service and Ross Barnett Reservoir Patrol in the event of possible flooding. No pets are allowed in villas or any other park building. Must be 21 years of age to reserve facilities. No alcohol allowed. No firearms allowed. Campground roads are white slag gravel - May change soon Campground gate is locked 8:00p.m. until 8:00a.m. Lock codes are given to camping guests.
