- Hi, David Guidry here. I am the second generation owner and operator of Lakeside Camera Photoworks. We are a small business, we suit up and show up every day. Our goal is to thrill everyone who patronizes our two stores. On balance, we succeed. We've been serving the greater New Orleans area since 1972. Like any business with a substantial volume in unique transactions, for some people, we are only as good as our worst performance on a given day. I wish we were perfect - believe me! If we fall short, I'd like to know about it and I promise we'll make it right. More about me. I grew up in River Ridge, Louisiana (just outside New Orleans). Attended Jesuit High School in New Orleans. Attended LSU and South Oregon State College, graduated with a History degree from LSU in 1991. Married with three children. Lakeside Camera Photoworks is the best playground I know. Innovation and implementation of new photo products and services is great fun.
