Cabin renters are no longer offered boats "whenever". Cabin renters may take advantage of a free one hour rental on a daily basis when the boat rental facility is operational. Boat rental hours are 10 AM to 6 PM daily, Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend and 10 AM to 6 PM Saturdays and Sundays in May and September to Mid-October. Rental hours may be reduced due to weather and staff shortages. All basic rates include up to 4 people per campsite. A maximum of 8 people are allowed per campsite. An extra $2.00 per person per night will be charged for 5 - 8 occupants. Pets must be leashed and attended to at all times. Pets are required to be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Pets are not allowed in Cabins or the Cabin Area. Loud noises or disturbances of any nature will not be tolerated between the hours of 10 PM to 7 AM Entrance fees are charged daily from March to November. One vehicle is allowed per site. This does not include the camping unit. Overflow parking is provided near the campground registration booth. Sites will accommodate a maximum of: 1 Motorhome with a small tent OR 1 travel trailer with a small tent OR 2 tents A Delaware fishing license is required for ages 16 thru 65, to fish in the pond, all fresh water as well as salt water. This includes recreational clamming and crabbing. A license can be obtained by agents authorized by the division of Fish & Wildlife. For more information call 302-739-9914 or visit fw.delaware.gov The possession or display of any firearms, air guns, paint ball guns, sling shots, martial arts weapons, fireworks or archery equipment is prohibited. Clotheslines may be used with care during daylight hours but are prohibited after dark. Trash must be taken to the dumpster / recycling center located at the campground dump station. There is a centrally located frost-free water spigot and Port-a-Potty available. Fires are allowed in the fire ring only. Generators are allowed but regulations prohibit unreasonable noise. Chopping, cutting or damaging trees and bushes in any way is prohibited at Killens Pond. Wood and ice are sold at the campground registration booth. Camping is permitted for a maximum of 14 days within a 21 day period between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Extended stays outside this period are only allowed by approval of the Park Office. In the case of a late arrival please notify the park at 302-284-4526 no later than 3:30 PM to make check-in arrangements or your reservation may be cancelled. If you are late report directly to your site and sign in the next day with the campground register, ranger or park office. Be respectful of those campers all ready set up. Water hookups are not available November 1st to December 31st and January 1st to March 31st. Water is available through centrally located forst-free spigots. The bathhouse is open year round.
