- Kenyon's Soo Bahk Do offers instruction in the traditional Korean martial art of Soo Bahk Do. Soo Bahk Do has roots in the ancient indigenous Korean martial arts of Soo Bahk Ki and Tae Kyun. These were combined with other fighting principles (e.g. Chinese Kung Fu, Shotokan Karate) and moral guidelines such as the philosophy of Do (Tao), No Ja (Lao Tzu) and Lee Do Ja (Confucius) by Grandmaster Hwang Kee into what is now known as Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. Soo Bahk Do (or Tang Soo Do as it was once known) is a forerunner of modern Taekwondo. Kenyon's Soo Bahk Do is a member in good standing of the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation®. Instruction in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Aikido is also available.
