With a deep-rooted passion for family, unforgettable memories, and the magic of Christmas, Eric began a journey in Winter Park, 2011. A humble start, decking out his home for his children, soon turned grand when his lighting artistry caught national attention, being showcased on ABC’s "The Great Christmas Light Fight" in 2016. Today, Eric's home is an iconic holiday attraction, drawing over 250,000 visitors every season and standing as one of the brightest gems of Central Florida's festive display.
But Johannessen Lights isn't just about a single home. Fueled by a love for community and a charitable spirit, what began as a single house display expanded into a lighting spectacle spanning homes, businesses, communities, and HOA's all across Central Florida.
