Lump Busters are used in such industries as chemicals, pharmaceutical, fertilizers, spice, minerals, sugars, drugs, grain, food,foundries and other commodities that tend to lump or agglomerate in storage or from production processes. These lump busting machines consist, basically, of 2 rotating shafts each equipped with our one piece pattern finger. The Lump Buster is especially designed for breaking up friable substances which do not call for heavy pounding of hammer, ball, or pin mills. Size reduction screens or breaker bars are used to size the product to customer specifications. Our screens come with hole diameters ranging from 1/8” to 2” other custom shapes are also available. We also offer hard facing of the leading edge and tip of the pattern fingers to reduce wear from abrasive materials. The sanitary Lump Busters are designed especially for the food and pharmaceutical industries. These machines have become quite useful for breaking up bottles in the recycling industries.
