- At The Hale House Inn, you never pay for something you do not receive. None of us ever intends to cancel, but sometimes we find ourselves in that situation. If you must cancel, and do so 8 or more days prior to your stay, and we are able to rebook your room, your deposit less the $30 service fee will be returned to you. Cancellations within 7 days of your scheduled arrival are charged full rate to your credit card ... but you will be issued a gift certificate that is transferable and lasts for a full year. All cancellations must be made in person or by phone. Voice mail and emailed cancellations will not be honored.
