- Gwynedd-Mercy College was founded in 1948 and is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. The mission of the College is strong in Catholic values, stressing the importance of educational and service in the Mercy tradition. Located the in suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 160 acres, the College currently holds an enrollment of over 2500 students, including traditional, adult and international students. We are a four-year, coeducational institution offering associate, baccalaureate and master's degree programs on a full or part-time basis.
