Company description

FoxCare Integrative Pediatrics is led by Dr. Rebecca Fox, a veteran pediatrician in the Loudoun Community. Dr. Fox has opened her practice to focus on specific disease conditions, which will enable her to spend more time with patients who require complex medical decision-making.

Many patients have complex chronic medical problems that require an individualized approach and personal attention. Dr. Fox believes that many chronic conditions can be helped by detailed investigation of nutritional status and genetic predisposition. A focus on lifestyle choices such as diet, exercise and sleep is very important to improved health. Stress management techniques can be taught to even the youngest patients. Most importantly, having a medical provider that intently listens to and believes the words of the patients (and their parents) is integral to improving the quality of life for these individuals.

FoxCare Integrative Pediatrics is especially equipped to address these listed conditions:

Dysautonomia/POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome)

PANDAS/PANS

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS and now called ME(Myalgic Encephalitis)

Lyme Disease

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)

Dr. Fox is especially interested in helping pediatric patients that have POTS (or Dysautonomia), PANDAS/PANS, Lyme disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, ADHD and others in which conventional medical approaches have incompletely helped the patient.

She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1988 and completed her pediatric residency training at Cornell Medical College-North Shore University Hospital in 1993.

She is also an accomplished hand weaver and has been published many times in the US and internationally. She wrote a weaving book called The Weaver’s Weevil to assist weavers in blending color in their craft while simultaneously using up their stash of weaving thread.

Dr. Fox is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society), The PANDAS network and Dysautonomia International. She will be certified in ozone therapy in April 2017.
