Our company was established in 1912 as the Slavia Agency, Inc. On September 15, 1987 Ronald W. Hammerberg purchased Slavia Agency, Inc. and changed the name to First Iowa Insurance Agency, Inc. From our beginning in Cedar Rapids we have enjoyed a steady growth and have become recognized as one of the leading agencies in the area. We have earned our reputation for professionalism due to the special attention given to the needs, requirements, and requests of our clients.
