David R. Mack, M.D., is a leading knee surgeon serving the Houston, Texas area. Focusing on knee replacements and shoulder injuries, Dr. Mack offers the latest technologies in partial and total knee replacements. He uses personalized implants from ConforMISTM implant, to customize knee replacements specifically to the individual needs of patients suffering from knee osteoarthritis.
Dr. Mack has been a leader in his field since graduating with High Honors from Baylor of College of Medicine. After receiving international training in the best institutes of Switzerland and Australia, Dr. Mack now focuses his practice on the knee and shoulder surgeries and treatments.
Double board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Mack also holds a sub-specialty Certificate in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and a Fellow of the esteemed American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Once a clinical instructor at the Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Mack has treated professional and Olympic athletes and has served as team physician for a number of high schools and colleges.
Dr. Mack performs many advanced procedures, including ligament reconstructions, arthroscopy, knee surgery and partial and total knee replacements. Dr. Mack continues to serve as Medical Director of the North Cypress Sports Medicine Center, a post he has filled since the practice’s founding. He is a founding partner of Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Serving as managing partner since 2007, David R. Mack, M.D. oversaw the clinic’s growth to 11 physicians, six physician assistants, and a staff of more than 50 employees.
