The airport is located northeast of downtown Denver. The airport terminal building is named after Elrey B Jeppesen, businessman and aviation pioneer, famous for his "Jepp" navigational maps and charts. An exposition of a variety of works of arts recreates a journey through Colorado’s history and diversity. The spacious airport encompasses 1.5 million square feet and its central atrium is constructed of walled glass and features a uniquely shaped translucent roof. Denver airport is the only airport in the world where travelers can cross an active airfield via the bridge that connects Concourse A to the Jeppesen Terminal.

The Qwest Business Center is located on concourse B (303) 317 0988, offering numerous workstations and online services. Computer data jacks are found at all pay telephones located around the airport. Internet connection facilities are offered in some bars and restaurants, and at kiosks on the concourses. Free WiFi access is available to the Internet throughout the airport in Jeppesen Terminal and Concourses A, B and C. Parking
There are many parking options at the airport (303) 342 7275 including two short-term parking garages, located just east and west of the terminal. There are more than 7,000 spaces in each garage. Uncovered economy parking is also available. Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot is located south of Peña Boulevard on 75th Avenue for long-term parking. Shuttles drop passengers off at check-in. The Mt Elbert Shuttle Lot is for overflow parking in a remote car park, also served by a shuttle. Terminal Transfer
The airport underground rail system links the Jeppesen Terminal with concourses A, B and C in 5 minutes. Passengers can walk from the Jeppesen Terminal to Concourse A via a bridge connection over the taxiways.
