A Minnesota native, Liz Covington has been painting since 2009 and loves the glow and luminosity watercolors provide. She wants her paintings to offer a unique perspective and composition. Her work is an eclectic mix of Watercolor Portraits, Urban Watercolors, Political Watercolors, Architecture Watercolors, Florals Watercolors, Landscapes Watercolors, Animal Watercolors and Abstract Watercolors. It’s her life experiences, extensive travel, and family that have provided her painting backdrop. She wants her paintings to draw everyone in and make everyone actively reflect and ponder what they see. The Department of Aging recently honored her by having a portrait painting hanging in DTLA City Hall in May and June 2017. Her art has also been showcased at Angel City Brewery, Dysonna City Gallery, Glendale Galleria, Sidewalk Cafe on Ocean Front Walk in Venice, DTLA Artwalk monthly, and the Huntington Beach Pier.
