- Please note: Site reconstruction will be occurring in the Chipmunk, Pine Bluff and Overflow areas. Some sites have been moved and/or renumbered for the 2011 season. Please be patient during this transitional period. If you have questions, please call the park BEFORE you make your reservations. Chenango Valley is open for day-use year round. Camping at the park is available from mid May to Mid-October. To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Dogs must have valid rabies certificate and must be leashed at all times. Bike helmets are required for children under 14 years of age. Rollerblades, rollerskates or skateboards are not allowed at the park. Camper must be 18 years of age or older to get a permit. Quiet hours are from 10 pm until 7 am Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.
