- USE OF GENERATORS OF ANY TYPE ARE PROHIBITED IN CAPE HENLOPEN STATE PARK. Water availability on campsites during the months of March and November is dependant on the weather. A frost-free spigot is available at the dump station. Call the Park Office at 302-645-8983 for more information. Only one vehicle per campsite will be assigned a pass allowing free entry in and out of the park. All other vehicles must park in the visitors parking area and are required to pay entrance fees when re-entering the park. Any equipment changes from original reservation reqirements must be approved through the park office prior to arrival. Equipment changes may result in the cancellation of your reservation. In the case of a late arrival 24 hours or more please notify the park at 302-645-8983 or your reservation may be cancelled. Be respectful of those campers already set up. You must be 18 or older to reserve a campsite. At least one member of the camping party must be 18 or older. Quiet hours are: 10 PM - 7 AM Chopping, cutting or otherwise damaging trees and vegetation in any way is strictly forbidden. Keg beer is prohibited. All motorhomes, trailers, vans and buses must be parked on pad. No electrical hook-ups on any campsites. America the Beautiful Access Pass discounts are available by calling the Call Center at 1-877-987-2757 By definition, Delaware State Park Campgrounds are family campgrounds. Group camping is prohibited in family campgrounds. Individuals are limited to two sites at any time. Those interested in group camping facilities are invited to call 302-644-5005. During winter months some amenities may not be available like water. Please contact the park prior to arrival for complete information. All basic rates include up to 4 people per campsite. A maximum of 8 people are allowed per campsite. An extra $2.00 per person per night will be charged for 5 - 8 occupants.
