Café Momentum is more than just an award-winning New American restaurant in a minimal yet colorful Downtown Dallas space. Chef Chad Houser serves as both the CEO and Executive Chef at this very special non-profit eatery that serves as both farm-to-table fine dining restaurant and paid post-release internship for juvenile offenders. Café Momentum offers these men and ladies a custom post-release program, teaching critical skills necessary for lifelong success, while also building an ecosystem of support around them. By participating in this unique program, at-risk young people rotate through every aspect of the restaurant from waiting tables to washing dishes, while working side-by-side with an amazing team of chefs.
