- The exterior of the Blue Anchor, including the eight-foot oak door, was shipped from a pub in England that was erected in 1864. The pub is also known for keeping ghosts that may have come with the cargo. The Bob McDonald Band performs Thursday night. Mad Cow, a sort of Beatles and Rolling Stones love child, rocks the crowd Friday and Saturday nights, plus daily lunch and dinner specials.
