More details

What age can/should my child start coming?
At the first birthday.
Will I be with my child during the appointment?
During exams and cleaning parents are always welcome to accompany the child. Our very young children will be held by the parent.
Do you sedate children for treatment?
We use Nitrous Oxide Sedation which allows the child to remain awake and conscious and able to communicate. It is the safest form of sedation. For children with extensive needs we offer hospital dentistry.
When can my child brush alone?
Each child develops at a different rate, and some children have good dexterity at an early age. If the child can tie his shoes, or write in cursive, it is a good bet that he/she can brush independently.
*Why should I fix baby teeth?
Baby teeth are important for chewing food, smiling and the child’s self confidence, and learning to make sounds that are in our language. Baby teeth also hold the space for the developing permanent teeth. If a baby tooth is lost early, the space for the permanent tooth can close, and may result in the need for extensive orthodontic treatment.
