Apple's App Store is the official iOS application store, and only apps that are reviewed by Apple's editors are available there. Apple's editors review apps every day, and the process typically takes about a day. More than 2.2 million apps are currently available on the App Store, and the total number of downloads from July 2008 to June 2017 was over 180 billion. Those statistics are staggering. The number of apps available on iTunes has grown from 5,000 in summer 2008 to 2.2 million in January 2017.
SyncTunes is another app available for Android devices. It syncs your iTunes music with your Android device, as well as your desktop. SyncTunes also lets you search songs by album art, date, and length. Users can organize their music using folders, and it allows for play lists and skip counts. One disadvantage to SyncTunes is that it won't allow users to synchronize copy protected music.
