Company description

Averie Construction is your one stop source for all of your home improvement needs. With over 15 years experience, in the remodeling and construction industry, I truly enjoy the satisfaction I receive when I can help my clients add value to their home while at the same time accommodating all of their family’s needs and helping them add their own creative flare that really makes their home unique and special for them.
Weather your remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, finishing a basement, wanting to build an addition or build that dream house that you’ve always wanted you can be confident that Averie Construction is a solid choice. My company is both licensed and insured by the State of South Dakota. Our mission is to provide you with a level of workmanship that can’t be beat. I pride myself on giving the same attention to detail that I would give to my own residence. I believe that in order to accomplish this communication is key along with regular involvement on the job site until the project is complete. We will do our best to ensure that your project flows steadily and within your budget. We appreciate that your time is valuable so we will make sure to schedule the work out at a time that is convenient for you, keep you posted about the arrival and departure of all the subcontractors, make sure that your know what to expect each day, as well as keep the job site clean at all times.
Finding the right contactor is important! It’s literally the difference between living happily ever after and your worst nightmare. Of course, you won’t be able to avoid all problems along the way but following these simple steps can definitely help minimize some of them.
• Ask to look at their credentials. Find out if they are licensed by the sate. Ask to see a copy of their certificate of insurance.
• Ask for references that apply to job that they are bidding for you
• Put everything in writing. When you know exactly what the contract includes this will help you avoid problems down the road. The contract should include the start and end date, what materials will be used, who the subcontractors will be and of course, the budget. The contract will also inform your of the payment schedule.
• Maintaining good communication is also key to ensuring that everything runs smoothly and successfully.
Some warning signs that your should be suspicious of:
• Proof of license and insurance can not be provided

• References are not available for a similar job

• If you feel pressured into making a quick hiring decision

• Prefers cash transactions

• Wants to use materials left over from another job

• Tries to convince you that a building permit is not necessary

• Quotes a final price without seeing the job
We certainly appreciate your interest in Averie Construction for your home improvement and construction needs. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact us at 605-890-9795 or email us: [email protected]
