Action Auto Clinic is a family owned full-service preventive maintenance and auto repair center. We have ASE Master Certified Technicians and Mechanics with degrees in automotive technology. Action Auto Repair has been performing high-quality, guaranteed auto (SUV, hybrid and truck) repairs in the St. Charles area since 1992.

Oil and Filter Change Service – We strongly recommend changing your vehicles oil and filter every 3,000 miles. At this time we will do a general check on your whole vehicle to see if anything is worn out or falling off. We want to make sure your vehicle is safe to drive. No surprises. We do this because we don't like to tell you later your need $$ to fix this or that. We advocate that you do regular oil changes at set times throughout the year which allows us to preventive maintenance before anything becomes an issue.

Factory Recommended Maintenance Schedule Services- We can perform the factory recommended maintenance service for you. This will keep your new vehicle’s warranty in effect. You are not required to have the dealer perform this service on your new vehicle.

Timing Belt Replacement

Engine Diagnostic Service - We can diagnose your “Check Engine” light problems and other running problems. With the "Check Engine Light On" you will not pass the Illinois State emissions test. Bring it into Action Auto Clinic and we will hook the engine diagnostic machine on your engine and tell you what needs to be fixed so you will pass the emission test.

Fluid Leak Testing - Engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, coolant.

Brake Service - We perform state-of-the-art on-car brake rotor resurfacing whenever possible. All brake rotors and drums are resurfaced with each brake job. Only the highest quality parts are used.

Steering Systems - Power steering system diagnosis. Replacement of power steering pumps, hoses, steering gears, etc.

Suspension Systems - Shock and strut replacement, ball-joint replacement, etc.

Tire Rotation - Recommended every 6,000 miles. Extends the life of tires by providing even wear.

Air Conditioning Service

Automatic and Manual Transmission Service - We can perform drain and fill service as well as complete fluid flushing with transmission filter replacement (recommended).

Exhaust Systems - Muffler and catalytic converter replacement. Exhaust manifold leak repairs or replacement. We specialize in custom exhaust. We make it for you so it fits perfectly. Don't waste your money with other options because it won't fit right. Get it custom made to fit your vehicle.

Emissions Repairs - (no testing) - Did you fail the IL State emissions test? We have state-of-the-art engine diagnostic machines to determine what is wrong with your engine so it can be repair fast and so you will pass.

Electrical System Diagnosis and Repair

Fuel System Service - We use Techron fuel injection cleaning technology. This service will clean the fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, fuel rail and throttle body. It will also clean the carbon build-up on the tops of the pistons and the intake valves in the cylinder head.

4-Wheel Drive and Differential Service -

Winterization, Coolant Service, and Flush Technology

Used Vehicle Inspections - We can inspect a vehicle you are interested in purchasing to make sure you are not buying somebody else’s problem. This is the most complete vehicle inspection service.

We have the staff, skills, training, and state-of-art equipment necessary to perform all required maintenance on your new vehicle while maintaining your warranty. We are the preferred alternative to the dealership for all scheduled maintenance of your personal car or truck.

Early Bird/Night Owl drop off is available for your convenience. You can drop off your vehicle any time before or after hours. We have a drop box slot on the 1st bay door where you can drop your keys off at.
