Company description
Born and raised in Charleston, SC, Richard has always loved the Lowcountry. From an early age, he had a passion for community service and spent many of his summers volunteering to help different communities (e.g. living and working with the natives in the mountain village of Yunguilla, Ecuador or with the Native Americans on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana). That desire to help others would later continue while serving as a criminal prosecutor for almost a decade. Working relentlessly to successfully achieve justice for victims was a priceless experience, and Richard was truly honored to have held that position. Throughout his career as a prosecutor, Richard tried numerous, difficult jury trials and prosecuted thousands of different crimes including murder, assault and battery, attempted murder, armed robbery, strong arm robbery, drug crimes, financial crimes, driving under the influence (DUI), and domestic violence to name a few.
Nowadays, Richard uses his experience to provide those who have made mistakes with a second chance, and he fights tooth and nail to exonerate those who have been wrongfully accused. In addition, he strives to get the unfortunate victims of personal injury and other civil cases the compensation they deserve. Richard implements the following simple yet effective business model for his clients’ cases: (1) the relentless pursuit of a positive outcome, (2) the use of creative problem-solving tactics, and (3) excellent communication. This is the same winning method he utilized for years as a prosecutor.
