Directly out of law school I went to work for Los Angeles County as a Deputy Public Defender handling criminal matters for 8 years. During that time period I tried almost every conceivable type of criminal case in State Court.
JURY TRIALS:
Misdemeanor trials: In excess of 100
Felony trials: in excess of 50
Types of trials included:
Murder, kidnapping, gang cases, rape, assaults, drug cases, extortion, embezzlement, domestic violence and numerous drunk driving cases.
Qualified on several occasions as an expert in criminal law. Qualified for the Superior Court of Los Angeles as an expert for criminal defense strategy.
