In early America, having a red door on homes and churches signified hospitality and protection to those passing by it.
Our beloved founder and co-owner, Kerry Smith, adopted this belief from her grandmother. She and her family have continued to uphold the tradition of painting their front door red to welcome in friends, old and new, from all walks of life.
Rooted in this belief, Rustic Red Door was launched with the vision to create home furniture with an authentic, intimate feel and fully capture your dream home aesthetic.
We have since built and maintained relationships with woodworkers from Ohio’s Amish country. This way, we are able to maintain integrity and quality in our handiwork.
