- Glimmerglass is open from May 14 to October 10, 2010. Beaver Pond Loop sites 38-43 & 50-59 are open Year Round for walk-up only. To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Pets must have proof of rabies vaccination. Pets must be on leash at all times. There is a limit of one piece of hard wheeled camping equipment per site or two tents per site. There is a limit of 6 persons per site. Maximum of 2 vehicles allowed. Additional cars will be charged a fee. Swimming at the beach starts at the end of May on weekends only. From mid-June there is daily swimming. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am and is strictly enforced. When biking, children under 14 years old must wear helmets. Rollerblades, rollerskates and skateboards are not allowed at the park. Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.
