The First Baptist Church of Heath is a community of Christ-followers in the Heath, Newark, and Granville area, committed to exalting Christ by leading people to love God, love people, grow deeper and serve. We are a multi-generational church with a heart to reach young families and partner with them as they begin careers and raise children. We have exciting and growing ministries for preschoolers, grade school children, and teens. Each week we meet for spirit-filled worship. Our worship band and praise team are gifted in leading our people in life changing praise. Our preaching is Bible focused. We believe the Bible is God’s word and the essential foundation for every part of life. The preaching of the Word is central to all we do. We are a church on mission. Our church family is involved in the Heath, Newark, and Granville communities and schools. We minister to the poor and disadvantaged. We work throughout Licking county, the state of Ohio, the country, and the world to serve people and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are not just a church within our four walls, but we are a church on-the-go, focused on being the hands and feet of Christ. We are a church that welcomes guests.
